Concierge improvements for even smoother rides

Your riders can now look forward to clearer messages, easier ride management, and helpful reminders.

We’re always looking for ways we can make the Concierge experience smoother for your riders. Recently, we made a few improvements to make it easier for your riders to get where they need to go.

Clearer text messages

Riders will now get fewer messages about their Concierge rides, and we’ve clarified directions to help them know exactly when and where to find their driver. Plus, we added ‘LYFT’ to each text so riders know who’s messaging them.

Easier ride management

We’ve redesigned the web browser experience to make it easier for riders to view, manage, and cancel Scheduled and Flexible rides, even without the Lyft app.

We’ve also made it easier for riders to cancel rides they don’t need. If they respond ‘C’ to cancel a ride, we’ll go ahead and cancel it for them — we won’t ask them to confirm.

Helpful reminders

If a rider misses their ride, we’ll send them a text so they know to call your organization to rebook if needed.

They’ll also get more timely reminders about Flexible rides. For a ride requested at least a day in advance, the rider will now receive a reminder at 7 pm the night before the ride becomes available. Plus, if a rider still has a Flexible ride available after completing another ride, we’ll remind them to use it for their return trip.
