Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My entire career has been in healthcare. But living in San Francisco, I’d always wanted to work at a quintessential tech company. I landed a role on the Lyft Healthcare team in 2018 and it’s been an incredible journey. I’m currently the Head of Healthcare Partnerships and oversee three of our business units — providers, payers, and emerging partnerships.

What inspires you the most being a part of Lyft Healthcare?

The impact. The product—transportation—is simple, but the impact is huge. We’re truly helping people lead healthier lives with the world's best transportation.

I love hearing patient stories. One of the most poignant was about a health plan that set up a new program with Lyft for prenatal care. Before Lyft, a five-mile ride to the doctor could take 60 minutes—no wonder pregnant women were missing their appointments. But their partnership with Lyft reduced it to a normal amount of travel time.Again and again we hear patients love Lyft because the experience is enjoyable, convenient—dignified.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

The people! (And snacks!) My colleagues on the healthcare team are more than coworkers, they’re a family. We care about each other as people and it’s 100% an us-before-me mentality.

Tell us something most people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’m a foodie and growing up my favorite gameshow was Supermarket Sweep. I spent some time in LA and called up their contestant hotline and convinced my best friend to audition with me. We were selected to be on the show and won!

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Work smarter, not harder.
