How we’re continuing to improve the business travel experience

Over the last few years, we’ve made improvements to make the business travel experience smoother than ever. We’re giving travel managers more cost-effectiveness and control, while helping employees save time and earn personal rewards.

Travel management made simple

Flexible invite methods
Now, travelers can join their company’s business travel program in four ways: via the Lyft app, the Lyft website, an email invite, or a shareable signup link.

Sustainable options
We’re committed to providing transparency into carbon emissions in our Sustainability Insights dashboard.

Plus, in over 40 cities, travelers can opt to take Green rides in a hybrid or electric vehicle. As riders take more sustainable forms of travel, businesses can reduce their carbon footprint.

Ride type restrictions
Travel managers can choose which ride types business travelers can take, to help ensure that work rides stay within budget.

Taking the work out of work travel

Personal rewards
Riders can earn rewards by linking their Alaska Mileage Plan™, Delta SkyMiles®, or Hilton Honors accounts with Lyft.

Plus, if their company partners with Lyft, travelers can earn 3% back in Lyft Cash and a free Priority Pickup upgrade every time they spend $200 on business profile rides in the US. Terms apply.

Schedule ahead
Reserving a ride ahead of time makes travel days less stressful. Travelers can schedule a ride up to 30 days in advance, lock in a price, and set their preferred pickup time.

Scheduled rides to the airport are covered by our on-time pickup promise. If a driver is 10+ min late, riders will get up to $100 in credits.*

Faster, comfier rides
Riders can sit back and relax after a long travel day by using one of our premium ride modes.

They’ll get picked up faster with Priority Pickup. Or, they can opt for Extra Comfort and stretch their legs in a newer, roomier car.

Automatic expensing
Travelers can automatically expense work rides in the Lyft app. Or, they can eliminate expensing altogether if their company sets up a direct bill program — which forwards receipts directly to the expense provider.

With Lyft Business, admins have the flexibility to create transportation programs that are custom to their company’s needs. And business travelers have peace of mind that they’ll enjoy an easier and more rewarding experience on the road.

*Our on-time pickup promise is available in most major markets. Scheduled rides to the airport are covered by our on-time pickup promise. If your driver is more than 10 minutes late, you’ll get $15 in Lyft Cash. If you’re not matched with a driver within 10 minutes of your pickup time, you’ll get $50 in Lyft Cash. If $50 doesn’t cover your alternate transportation, you’ll be eligible for up to $50 more in Lyft Cash.
