Waterfront Museum

An antique barge tells the story of how goods traveled within the NY Harbor prior to today's system of containerization, bridges, tunnels and the trucking industry. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Barge is the only surviving wooden example of its kind.

Queensbridge Houses is the largest NYCHA development in New York City. Queensbridge North Houses has 13, six-story buildings with 1,540 apartments. Completed March 15, 1940, the 20.35-acre Queens development is between 40th and 41st Avenues, 21st Street and Vernon Boulevard.
