33 E. Congress was originally built as a bank & recreation center that included a dozen pool tables. Today it houses Columbia’s Journalism, English, Radio, Audio Arts & Acoustic departments, as well as the WCRX radio & C33 Gallery. Fun Fact: A national billiards championship was held here in 1938.
