NYCHA - Pink Houses

Pink Houses is named after Louis Heaton Pink (1882-1955). He wrote a plan and a bill that led to the creation of NYCHA & became a member of the first NYCHA Board. Louis Heaton Pink Houses has twenty-two, 8-story buildings with 1,500 apartments. Completed Sept. 30, 1959, 31.1-acres.
