Lyft’s biggest strength is our people. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that Alicia Zuiker is joining Lyft as Chief People Officer.
Alicia joins Lyft following 15 years of best-in-class HR experience at GE, and most recently serving as Chief People Officer for Visby Medical during a period of growth and transformation. Her expertise ranges from designing foundational HR systems and processes at a rapidly scaling start-up to shepherding a global corporation through organizational design changes, and she will be an invaluable contribution to Lyft.
“Lyft is a company and a brand that I’ve admired for years. It is incredible to see how the company lives up to its mission every day and with an extraordinary focus on its people,” said Alicia. “I look forward to building upon the great work that the team is doing and contributing to the inspiring vision of building the future of transportation.”
Alicia succeeds Nilka Thomas, who served as Lyft’s Chief People Officer for over two years. Nilka was instrumental in leading Lyft through the uncertainties introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic, and successfully transitioned Lyft to the fully flexible workplace we have today.
