Lyft has an extremely diverse community of drivers, passengers, and employees. Our work is dependent on every person in our community treating one another with mutual respect and dignity. We have been deeply saddened by the recent events affecting immigrants and refugees coming to our country, and by the lack of dignity shown to those individuals.
In order to uphold our commitment to inclusivity, we are supporting 50 nonprofits around the country that provide high-quality, hyper-local support to immigrants and refugees. As part of our Lyft Relief Rides program, we have provided each organization with Lyft credit to help with their transportation needs, including but not limited to, getting immigrants and refugees to legal/court appointments.
Listed below are 45 of the organizations selected for these transportation grants. The final 5 grants have been set aside for organizations directly involved in the reunification of families who were separated along our border. Those are still being selected in partnership with the ACLU.
We thank these 45 organizations for their incredible work, and look forward to seeing the impact they will make with increased access to transportation.
