What if the price of my ride is lower without my Price Lock pass?

If the current price of your ride is lower than your Price Lock pass, you’ll be charged the lower price.

Is there a maximum savings amount?

Each Price Lock pass allows for a maximum of $40 in savings each month. After you've reached $40 in savings, you'll pay the market rate price on the route until your pass renews.

How is Price Lock different from scheduled rides?

Signing up for Price Lock doesn’t schedule your ride ahead of time. After purchasing a Price Lock pass, you have the flexibility to request your ride during the one-hour request window of your choice.

No. Average wait times for rides with Price Lock are the same as rides without Price Lock.

Tap ‘Price Lock’ in the side menu of the Lyft app to view, edit, or cancel your Price Lock passes. If you cancel before using the pass, you will automatically be refunded the $2.99 fee.

How does Price Lock work if I have Lyft Pink?

Lyft Pink members get a 5% discount on Standard rides, even with Price Lock. The discount will be applied before the Price Lock rate goes into effect. Which means it won’t count against the $40 maximum monthly Price Lock savings. Currently, Price Lock passes are not compatible with Priority Pickup.
