Transportation is a path to new beginnings

Underserved communities lack equal access to affordable, reliable transportation. Through our Lyft Up program, we’re providing access to 1.5 million rides to help people reach food, essential jobs, and services.* Join us, and partners like My Brother’s Keeper Alliance and the National Urban League, in lifting up our communities.

We’re providing access to the rides people need to get to critical resources and services. If you’re in a position to help others, you can donate to one of our partners — My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, National Urban League, Goodwill®, or United Way — who will distribute it to people in need.

Lifting each other up

Our Lyft Up Access Alliance and other partnerships help us support underserved communities.

By joining forces with impact-driven organizations — My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, National Urban League, Black Women’s Roundtable, United Negro College Fund, US Black Chamber of Commerce, NAACP, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and the National Action Network — we’re working to help provide access to transportation, so it isn’t a barrier to opportunity for underserved communities of color.

We’re also partnering with United Way and Goodwill® to distribute donated rides to help job seekers get to job training, interview prep, interviews, and/or new jobs.

*Lyft and its Lyft Up programs and partnerships will collectively provide access to an estimated 1.5M car, bike, and scooter rides (calculated based on average cost of each mode) through 2024 to help people in need reach food, essential jobs, and services.
