Introducing 3 new ride options

Every rider has unique needs. Some want to hop in the car and get to their destination as fast as possible. Others don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes to save a few dollars. While other riders want the fancy-pants plush leather and extra legroom (can’t blame ’em).

As a Concierge user, you can now offer your riders the options they want. Introducing three new ride options: Priority Pickup, Wait & Save, and Preferred rides.

3 new ways to ride with Lyft:

Faster pickups

Upgrade to Priority Pickup for a faster pickup when you’re in a hurry.

This ride mode gives your riders priority over others (hence the name) so they can get where they want to go quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Reduced pricing

Save money by waiting a little longer for less urgent trips with Wait & Save.

This ride mode allows you to save a few bucks in exchange for a little patience. Wait & Save availability depends on how many drivers are nearby.

Perks for VIPs

Get extra legroom, newer cars, and top-rated drivers with Preferred rides.

This ride mode lets your riders take a ride with a top-rated driver in a spacious car.

To get started, log in to your Concierge dashboard.

How it works:

These ride options aren’t always available, so keep an eye out for when they are. Select the option when it’s available.

Tip for Wait & Save option: Make sure riders know the driver could show up earlier than the max wait time. We’ll let them know when their driver is on the way.
